On May 13, the First Chengdu‑Chongqing Regional Science and Technology Innovation Center Embodied‑Intelligence Robot Application‑Scenario Challenge concluded in Mianyang, Sichuan. After multiple rounds of fierce competition, two self‑developed robots named Xuan‑Jia and Sentinel from Jiuzhou Software Co., Ltd. under Jiuzhou Group stood out for their outstanding practical‑use performance. They were awarded the Gold Prize and Bronze Prize in the special‑operation category respectively, demonstrating the formidable capability of domestic special‑purpose intelligent equipment under complicated working scenarios.

This competition focused on tough and high‑risk practical‑operation scenarios such as electric‑power patrol and manipulation. Thirty top‑tier innovation teams nationwide took part. The contest adopts high‑level competition to test the engineering‑implementation capacity and industrial‑application potential of embodied‑intelligence technology.

At the electric‑power patrol‑and‑manipulation venue, Jiuzhou Software’s Light‑Chasing Team competed with the Xuan‑Jia robot for the intelligent‑operation project on a 10‑kilovolt high‑voltage power‑distribution cabinet. Subject to strict operation requirements and with its fully‑autonomous operation mode, Xuan‑Jia completed a set of elaborate high‑risk operations without human intervention, including cabinet‑door opening, indicator‑lamp identification, button manipulation as well as heavy‑duty key insertion and removal. It finished the whole workflow within 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Its operating efficiency and stability surpassed the competition benchmark by a wide margin, earning the Gold Prize for this event.

On the emergency‑rescue track simulating harsh post‑disaster surroundings, Jiuzhou Software’s Electric‑Guard Team fielded the Sentinel robot. Coping with multiple obstacles such as dense smoke, dim lighting and rugged terrain, the Sentinel leveraged core technologies including multi‑sensor fusion, 3D‑LiDAR positioning and high‑definition infrared thermal imaging to realize all‑terrain autonomous travelling and accurate fire assessment. Within 55 seconds, the robot accomplished the full reconnaissance mission: open‑flame detection, precise identification and positioning of trapped personnel and real‑time transmission of three‑dimensional map data of the fire‑hit zone. Its outstanding environmental adaptability and operational reliability won high‑level recognition from on‑site judges, and it obtained the Bronze Prize for the competition item.

These awards serve as proof that Jiuzhou’s research‑and‑development achievements within embodied intelligence have passed high‑standard practical‑scenario inspection. In the future, Jiuzhou will keep increasing investment in scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the commercialization of technical outcomes, and make contributions toward improved public‑security capacity and industrial intelligent upgrading.
